NAME
cloudscheduler group - manage groups on cloudscheduler version 2 (csv2) servers
SYNOPSIS
csv2 group action mandatory_parameters [ options …]
DESCRIPTION
The group object creates, lists, updates, and deletes groups on cloud- scheduler servers. A group on a cloudscheduler server is analogous to a project on an OpenStack cloud and may have multiple users, anyone of whom may control the cloud resources for the group. Each group has an associated list of metadata files that can be modified using the meta- data- actions. The group object and actions are only available to privileged users. Unprivileged users may update group defaults and metadata with the cloudscheduler metadata object.
ACTIONS

For information on the parameters associated with each group action, refer to the documentation for that action (cloudscheduler group action -H ). The following actions are available for the group object:

add The cloudscheduler group add action adds groups to csv2 servers.

This action is only available to privileged users.
defaults
The cloudscheduler group defaults action modifies and displays group defaults from csv2 servers. This action is available to privileged users, provided they are in the group that the defaults belong to. To view and modify defaults as an unpriviliged user use the cloudscheduler metadata group-defaults command.

delete The cloudscheduler group delete action deletes groups from csv2

servers. This action is only available to privileged users. All objects(group defaults, group metadata, cloud definitions, cloud metadata, jobs, and VMs) associated with the group will be deleted as well. *PLANNED: If a group has running jobs or VMs the delete will fail.*

list The cloudscheduler group list action displays groups from csv2

servers. Any metadata filename lists in this table are in alphabetic order, to see the priority ordering use the command: cloudscheduler group metadata-list or cloudscheduler cloud meta- data-collation . This action is only available to privileged users.
metadata-delete
The cloudscheduler group metadata-delete action deletes group metadata from csv2 servers. This action is available to priviliged users, provided they are in the group that the metadata belongs to. To delete metadata as an unpriviliged user use the cloudscheduler metadata delete command.
metadata-edit
The cloudscheduler group metadata-edit edits group metadata files from csv2 servers. This action is available to priviliged users, provided they are in the group that the metadata belongs to. To edit metadata as an unpriviliged user use the cloud- scheduler metadata edit command.
metadata-list
The cloudscheduler group metadata-list action displays group metadata for the current group from csv2 servers. This action is available to priviliged users, provided they are in the group that the metadata belongs to. To list metadata as an unpriviliged user use the cloudscheduler metadata list command.
metadata-load
The cloudscheduler group metadata-load action adds group metadata to the current group on csv2 servers. This action is available to priviliged users, provided they are in the group that the metadata belongs to. To load metadata as an unpriviliged user use the cloudscheduler metadata load command.
metadata-update
The cloudscheduler group metadata-update action modifies group metadata on csv2 servers. This action is available to priviliged users, provided they are in the group that the metadata belongs to. To update metadata as an unpriviliged user use the cloudscheduler metadata update command.

update The cloudscheduler group update action modifies groups on csv2

servers. This action is only available to privileged users.
