Database View: view_user_groups

This view is one of a suite of related views supporting the user management functions of CSV2. The suite includes:

  1. view_user_groups
  2. view_user_groups_available

The view_user_groups combines information from csv2_user, csv2_groups, and csv2_user_groups to list one row for every defined user, and for each user a comma separated list of groups to which they are associated.

Columns:

  • username (String(32)):

    Is the CSV2 login ID of the user. Usernames are created by super users.

  • cert_cn (String(128)):

    If the user provides their x509 grid certificate Common Name (CN), users can authenticate using their certificatesr. In which case, the user will not be prompted for their CSV2 password.

  • password (String(128)):

    Is the user password to authenticate with CSV2. If the user is not authenticating with any other methd, CSV2 will prompt the user for this value.

  • is_superuser (Boolean):

    If set to 1, the user is considered a super user and has all rights and privileges. Otherwise, the user is a normal user and only has privileges within a group.

  • join_date (Integer):

    A system generated timestamp indicating when this username was first added.

  • flag_global_status (Boolean):

    A user preference selecting the format of the status page. If set to 0, only the user current group information will appear on the status page. If set to 1, the status page will display all the groups of which the user is a member.

  • flag_show_slot_detail (Boolean):

    A user preference specifying the information the expanded VM status is to display. If set to 0, only a slot summary will be displayed. If set to 1, the slot summary together with the slot detail will be displayed.

  • flag_show_slot_flavors (Boolean):

    A user preference specifying the format of the slot summary. If set to 0, the slot summary will not contain any flavor information. If set to 1, the slot summary will contain flavor information.

  • status_refresh_interval (Integer):

    A user preference specifying the number of seconds between status page refreshes.

  • default_group (String(32)):

    A user preference indicating their default group of all the groups they are a member of.

  • user_groups (String):

    Is a comma separated list of group names of which the user is a member.

  • available_groups (String):

    Is a comma separated list of group names of which the user is not a member.
